Obituary for Lodema Ray

Lodema Ray, longtime resident of Tonkawa, passed away June 20, 2015. She was 91 years of age.

Lodema was born on January 13, 1924 in Blackwell, OK to Henry Tolbert Smith and Pansy Viola Smith.

She was married to Charlie Grant Ray until his death in 2003. They were the parents of four children: Charles R. Ray of Blackwell, Harley Lee Ray of Wichita Falls, TX, Ronald E. Ray of Coffeyville, KS, and Violete Ray of Pittsburg, MO.

She is survived by her sister, Freda May Robinson of Stillwater, her four children, eight grandchildren, and numerous great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Charlie.

Arrangements for Lodema are under the direction of Anderson Funeral Home. She will be available for viewing Tuesday, June 23rd at Anderson Funeral Home in Tonkawa until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Wednesday, June 24th at 10:30 a.m. at I.O.O.F Cemetery in Tonkawa with Reverend Matt Smith presiding.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 445 Fairview Ave., Ponca City, OK 74601.
