Obituary for David Benham

David E. Benham, resident of Ponca City, passed away Friday, June 12, 2015. He was 65.

A memorial service to celebrate his life will be held 10:00 am Friday June 19, 2015 at Ponca City Assembly of God Church, with Pastor Michah Wells officiating, 2313 E. Prospect.

David was owner and operator of David Benham’s Auto Services for approximately 45 years. He was assistant Fire Chief for the Marland Volunteer Fire Department and was recognized for greater than 25 years of Services, prior to that he was a Fire Fighter for the Tonkawa Fire Department. David was a representative to the Nohle Co. Tash Force for Marland Fire Department.

He was dedicated to helping the youth of this area and supported many organizations and fund raisers. He never turned a child away.

David was loved by many and will be missed.

He is survived by his wife Rayna of the home, 4 daughters, 10 grand children and 1 great-grandchild. Also survived by 3 stepdaughters, 6 step grand children and 3 step great grandchildren.

David was preceded in death by his mother, Thelma Benham, his father Louis Benham and daughter Kendra Benham.
