Obituary for Gary Kirchenbauer

Gary Lynn Kirchenbauer, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away on Friday, June 5, 2015 at his home. He was 67.

The graveside service will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Chaplain Mike Sweetman, officiating. The family will have a reception following the service at their home. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Gary was born on May 31, 1948 to Ernest Kirchenbauer and Kathryn (Hurst) Kirchenbauer in Ponca City, OK. He was raised in Ponca City, OK. He was married to Mary Frances Lawson on July 2, 1967 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. Gary owned his own lawn care business.

He enjoyed camping and the outdoors.

He is survived by his daughters Yvonne Pyron and Tony of Joshua, TX and Kayla Snapp and Cory of Ponca City, OK, two brothers; Art and Clinton Kirchenbauer of Ponca City, OK and two grandchildren Kaydence and Kynzlee Snapp.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Kirchenbauer, daughter, Dione Kirchenbauer, his parents, Ernest and Kathryn Kirchenbauer, and two brothers, John and Steven Kirchenbauer.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 424 Fairview, Ponca City, OK 74601. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of his Doctors and Caregivers.
