Obituary for Rose Waterhouse

Rose Charlene Waterhouse was born on March 9, 1939 in Dumont, Texas. She resided in Ponca City where she cherished life simple, yet great blessings. Charlene can be described as someone who exuded strength and wisdom. She was the definition of unconditional love. Charlene loved going to church and reading the word of the Lord in her bible at home. Of all things Charlene accomplished, nothing made her more proud than her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Nothing made her happier than spending time with them or getting a simple phone call. She also looked forward to weekly visits with her wonderful sister. Charlene was a woman that lived her life for her family and couldn’t have loved them more.

She is survived by her daughters Cindy Burns of Ponca City, Tracy Crick of Plano, TX; Grandchildren Stefanie Burns of Winfield, KS, Justin Burns of Edmond, OK , Cortney Burns of Ponca City, OK, Aaron Crick and wife Amanda of Schertz, TX, Kelsey Crick of Terrell, TX; Great grandchildren Alexis Sosa of Wichita, KS, Paige Sosa of Wichita, KS, Brycen Burns of Edmond, OK, Emma Crick of Schertz, TX, Luke Crick of Schertz, TX; one sister Loretta Rowe of Portland, TX one brother J.D. Shipman of Michigan.

She is preceded in death by her parents Charlie and Zena Shipman and one brother Donnie Shipman.

A grave side service to honor Charlene will be 10 a.m. Tuesday May 5, 2015 at Resthaven Memorial Park in Ponca City, OK under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory of Ponca City, OK

Memorial Contributions may be made to the Albright Methodist Church in Ponca City, OK
