Obituary for Lloyd Wells

Lloyd Donald Wells, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away Friday, March 20, 2015 in Ponca City, Oklahoma. He was 67.
Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Odd Fellow Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma with Full Military Honors. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
Lloyd was born on December 16, 1947 to Lloyd C. Wells and Clara Hitch Wells in Cushing, OK. He was raised in Cushing, OK. Lloyd attended Lincoln Middle School and High School. He served in the United States Army from 1966 to 1973 where he was in Vietnam. He met Kay Waller in 1988. They married on February 14, 2004. Lloyd started working as a Electrician with his father, he later worked for Woodward Business, Ponca City in the mid 80’s, Robbins Electric, Flour Mill in Blackwell, Russell Holmes Electric in Blackwell, Jerry Younger, and Welborn Elecrtic where he retired in 2009.
He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, country and western dancing and traveling.
Lloyd is survived by Wife, Kay Wells; children, Dewayne and Lynnetta Polk; Chris Wells; Nathan Wells; and Darren Wells; Stepchildren, Brenda and Scott Pennington; Linda and Howard Stiedley;and Jason and Kristal Junkens; 12 grandchildren; one stepsister Karen and Doud Calkins; one stepbrother, Curtis and Judy Goddard;
Preceded in death by his parents;
