Obituary for Betty Morse

Betty Jo Morse, age 82 resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away February 15, 2015 , in Ponca City.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm, Thursday February 19, 2015 at the Resthaven Memorial Parks with Pastor Micah Wells of Ponca City Assembly Church officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Betty was born on June 18, 1932 to Harry Green and Elizabeth Esther Green in Tulsa, OK. She attended Tulsa Central High School, Lindenwood College and Oklahoma State University. She was married to Bob Morse on June 18, 1981 in Ponca City. Betty loved good music and could often be found listening to her favorites. Her husband was a truck driver and she found great enjoyment in traveling with him across the country, visiting many different states. Her laugh would give away her presence, she would laugh often and with joy. Betty was a happy person.

She is survived by children, Warren Schickram of Ponca City, David Schickram of Elmore, City, Oklahoma, and Cindy Schickram, of Ponca City, her sister, Marilyn Cook of Tulsa, nine grandchildren, and ten great grandchildren. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, and daughter, Patsy Evans.
