Obituary for Randall Moore

Randall Owen “Wahoo” Moore, resident of Red Rock, passed February 7, 2015 in Perry, Oklahoma. He was 67 years of age.
Randall was born July 31, 1947 in Pawnee, Oklahoma, the son of Johnny Moore Sr. and Minnie Mae (English) Moore. He attended Red Rock Schools and earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the OSU Okmulgee Campus. He served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.
Randall was a renowned artist, having created many paintings of his Native American culture. He enjoyed attending pow-wows, music, playing and singing to his guitar, bead work and spending time with family.
He is survived by one sister, Loretta Moore Hess of Enid; three brothers, Roland Moore of Red Rock, Johnny Moore Jr. of Pawnee and Elton Moore of Tulsa; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, Claudetta Morris, Loraine Sigwing and Carmalita Everhart.
Prayer services to be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at the Otoe-Missouria Cultural Center. A noon meal will be served on Wednesday, February 11, 2015 also at the Cultural Center. Traditional funeral services will follow the meal with the Native American Church presiding. Burial will follow in the Otoe-Missouria Cemetery under the direction of Grace Memorial Chapel.
Casket bearers are Dana Bible, Moran Bible, Emmett Hall, Blain Hall, Michael Bible and William Bible. Honorary casket bearers are all Otoe-Missouria Veterans. In addition are honorary casket bearers Graham Primeaux Jr., Daylan Primeaux, Chantay Sigwing, Chase Warrior and Brandon Warrior Jr.
