Obituary for Susan Ramey

Susan Emaline Ramey, resident of Ponca City, Oklahoma, passed away at Ponca City Medical Center. She 78.

The funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2014, at 2:00 pm, at the Trout Funeral Home with Pastor Don Stanton, officiating. Burial will then follow at the Resthaven Memorial Parks in Ponca City, Oklahoma . Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.

Susan was born on August 5, 1936 to L.M. Grilreath and Florence Alma (Jordan) Grilreath in Hedley, TX. She was raised in White Deer, Texas. She graduated from White Deer High School, May 28, 1954. She later graduated with her Associate Degree in Arts from Frank Phillips College on May 30, 1956. She was married to Thomas Ramey on September 13, 1957. She worked as an accountant for Conoco from June 1, 1965 and later retiring on September 1, 1996.

She loved to play poker with all of her friends.

She is survived by Son, Mark Ramey and brother, Bill Gilreath of Pampa, TX

Preceded in death by Father, L.M. Grilreath, Mother, Florence Alma Gilreath; husband Thomas Ramey and son Thomas Frank Ramey

Casketbearers will be Chuck Grimm, Michael Kasl, Ryan O’Hara; Shane O’Hara; Darren Dyer; Trevor Craft; Jim Watson; Robert MacIoge.
