Obituary for Faye Rogers

Faye Rogers, resident of Ponca City, OK, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2014, at home surrounded by family. She was 70.
The graveside service will be held 2:00 pm, Friday, October 10, 2014, at Odd Fellows Cemetery with Chaplain Mike Sweetman, officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
Faye was born on May 12, 1944 to Ralph and Maria (Medrano) Henry in Kersey, CO. She was married to Joyce Ray Rogers on October 3, 1964 in Tipton, OK. They later moved with their 4 children to Ponca City in 1975. She worked as unit secretary for Ponca City Hospital for 23 years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, and spoiling all her grandchildren. Christmas was her favorite time of year and she always outdone herself when it came to presents for all her loved ones. She liked collecting Elvis Memorabilia. She loved listening to music, especially Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn, Elvis, and Spanish music.
She is survived by her Sons; Paul Rogers and wife Leann, Anthony Rogers and wife Tamara, and daughters, Angelia Freek and husband Larry, and Kristina Porter and husband Dennis, all of Ponca City, OK. And 11 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She is also survived by Brothers Jerry Henry of Fort Wayne IN, David Henry of Baytown TX, Danny Henry of Baytown TX and Jesse Henry of Chillicothe OH, and Sisters Rachel Henry of Onalaska TX, Adelle Young of Abilene TX, Connie Irby of Onalaska TX, and Lillie Sanders of Pottsboro TX.
Preceded in death by her husband Joyce Ray Rogers, her parents Ralph and Maria Henry, and sister Pauline Poe.
Casketbearers will be her 6 grandsons Toby Meadows, Tim Rogers, Stephen Rogers, Michael Porter, Ryan Freek, and Anthony Rogers II.
Family will gather at 1306 S. 7th following the services.
