Obituary for Hayden Jones

Hayden T. Jones (Bud) 82 of Ponca City passed away on Thursday October 2nd 2014. He was born in Ponca City, on February 23rd 1932.

He married Phyllis Arlene Edwards on September 7th 1952. In his early years, at the age of 21, Hayden served two years for the army in the Korean War. Upon his return he began his own business H. T. Painting and drywall. Although Hayden often worked long days he always made time for his family.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, singing, cards and playing the guitar. Hayden lived a life filled with love, family, laughter, god and strength. Hayden is survived by his wife of 62 years-Phyllis Arlene Jones, his two sons; Floyd Jones and Hayden Jones. Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Hayden is preceded in death by his parents Homer and Loubell Jones; 13 siblings, as well as his son Richard Lyle Jones, and great grandson Jacob Ryan Jones.

The services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, October 7, 2014 at Ponca City Assembly with pastor Micah Wells, officiating. Burial will then follow at Resthaven Memorial Park. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home and Crematory.
