Obituary for Jonathan McDaniel

Jonathan Caleb McDaniel of Ponca City passed away on Saturday, March 22, 2014, at his home. He was a 15 year old sophomore at Ponca City Senior High School.
The memorial service will be held at Eastern Heights Christian Church at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 26, 2014, with Pastors Danny Cox and Mark Berry officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Trout Funeral Home & Crematory.
Jonathan was born on March 23, 1998, to Jim and Kerry (Wilson) McDaniel in Ponca City, OK.
He was involved in a variety of activities. He had been a Boy Scout for 8 years and was currently working on his Eagle Scout project. He was a member of the youth group, assisted with the sound system, and aided in Jr. Church at EHCC. Additionally, he was involved in the Academic Team and Key Club at Po-Hi. He was an avid reader, enjoyed playing video games, and loved being in the outdoors.
He is survived by parents, sister Laura of Topeka, KS, and brothers, Nathan and wife, Amanda, of Bartlesville; Sam and wife, Brittany, of North Platte, NE; and Tim and wife, Nicole, of El Reno. He is also survived by grandparents, Denton and Diane McDaniel of Webb City, MO, and Marilyn Wilson of Russell, KS.
In his nearly sixteen years, Jonathan was able to bless those he knew, touching the hearts of the old and young alike. We celebrate his life and remember the impact he made on our lives.
