Obituary for Charlotte Pitts

Charlotte Ann Pitts, 91, went to be with the Lord Friday, March 14, 2014. She was born in Tonkawa, Oklahoma on November 30, 1922.

She was the daughter of Leo Emerson Bellmon and Edna P. Bellmon. She is survived by her husband of the home, John Pitts of Ponca City, OK. They were married for 70 years.

Charlotte was a long time member of the First Christian Church of Ponca City, OK. She volunteered many hours & served in the Friendship Sunday School Class.

Also surviving are her son, Terry & wife Debbie Pitts of Plano, TX, and her daughter, Lou Ann & husband Dick Winn of Stillwater, OK. She is also survived by her brother, Hugh & wife DonAne Bellmon of Stillwater, OK, and her sister Jayne & husband Joe Buskuhl of Dallas, TX.

Surviving grandchildren are Kelly Ann Pitts of Plano, TX, Lesly Ann & husband Jason Goodwyn of Frisco, TX, Andrew John & wife Rebecca Winn of Puerto Rico, and Evan Joseph Winn of Oklahoma City, OK. Great grandchildren are Lucy Ann and Alice Ann Goodwyn of Frisco, TX. Also surviving are numerous nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Trout Funeral Home of Ponca City, OK. Interment will be at Union Cemetery in Billings, OK.
