Obituary for Mildred VonBieberstein

Mildred Frances Lumley Von Bieberstein went to be with the Lord February 8, 2014 at Via Christi Village. She was 91.

Mildred was born November 13, 1922 to DeLoss and Fannie Duddridge Lumley in Ponca City. She attended Ponca City High School, graduating in 1942. She married George Fredrick Von Bieberstein July 17, 1957 in the chapel of Boston Ave. Methodist Church in Tulsa. They had celebrated 56 years of marriage. She went to Ras Tanura Saudi Arabia with Fred for many years, returning to live in Ponca City.

She is survived by her husband Fred, of the home; nieces, Betty Jo Dickson of Mooresville, N.C.; Barbara Snyder of Ponca City; nephew, George Harrison, of Stillwater, OK; Two step nephews, Wally Postelwait, of Ponca City; Ray Postelwait of Mountain Home, AR; and very close friends, Dennis & Mary Ann Beets.

She was preceded in death by her parents and six sisters, Ethel Clark, Ruth Cunningham, Madeline Fortney, Mable Postelwait and 2 infant sisters.

Services will be held 10:30AM Thursday, February 13 at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, 1904 North Union, Ponca City, OK 74601.
