Obituary for Kathy Fairchild

Katherine “Kathy” Sue Fairchild of Blackwell, Oklahoma, passed from this earth on the night of Tuesday, December 24, 2013, south of Blackwell, Oklahoma.
Katherine “Kathy” Sue Fairchild was born on December 14, 1965, in Blackwell, Oklahoma, the first child of Paul Eugene and Coleen Marie (Larimore) Killblane. Kathy received her education in the Blackwell Public Schools and graduated with the class of 1984.
On December 23, 1996, Kathy and Clifford Fairchild were married in Miami, Oklahoma. To this union Stormie Marie and Clifton Tyler Fairchild were born. At the time of her death, Kathy was employed at Braum’s in Ponca City where she had been employed for 28 years, as a crew leader
Kathy enjoyed spending time at the ball fields watching Stormie play softball and Tyler play baseball. Kathy was also an avid softball player herself. She was addicted to playing “Candy Crush”, and enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Clifford L. Fairchild; one daughter, Stormie Marie Fairchild; one son, Clifton Tyler Fairchild all of the home in Blackwell, Oklahoma; two step-daughters, Challynn Nicole Aaron of Topeka, Kansas, and Katrina Bradford of Inola, Oklahoma; one granddaughter, Jacey Aaron of Wichita, Kansas; one brother, Mike Jarvis and wife Stacy of Allen, Oklahoma; one sister, Karen Couch and husband Bob of Ponca City, Oklahoma; one uncle, Larry Larimore and wife Rosemarie of Blackwell; one aunt, Carolyn Wright and husband Raymond of Ponca City, Oklahoma; and brother and sister in law, Roger and Barbara Fairchild.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Colleen Jarvis; grandparents, Wilma and Virgil Phillips; and mother in law, Sarah Jane Day.
Services are scheduled for 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 31, 2013, at the Church of Christ, Blackwell, Oklahoma, with Lanny Jobe officiating. Interment will follow at the Blackwell Cemetery.
Casketbearers will be Gene Hurst, Larry Larimore, Raymond Wright, Doug Wright, Darrin Wright and Danny Rich. Honorary casketbearers will be the girls of the Blackwell High School Softball Team.
