Winfield Police arrested a 72-year-old man accused of exposing himself to children at the Braum’s in Winfield, Kansas Saturday afternoon.
David Lee Scott was booked into the Cowley County Jail on a charge of lewd and lascivious behavior. That charge is a felony because the children were under the age of 16. Around 5:20 p.m., police were called to the restaurant for a report of someone exposing themselves to children. In a Facebook post, the children’s mother, Brook Denson, said Scott was exposed and touching himself while looking at her children. Denson informed the Braum’s on what happened, and the restaurant said they would keep an eye on him.
Denson then called police who arrived and met Scott as he left the restaurant. Scott was arrested following a brief investigation.
