Oklahoma State’s Walton named to Golden Spikes watch list

STILLWATER, Okla. (AP) – Oklahoma State baseball player Donnie Walton has been named to the watch list for the Golden Spikes Award.

Walton is an infielder and is one of 50 players including on the list announced Tuesday.

The award is presented by USA Baseball to the player selected as the top amateur baseball player in the nation.

Arkansas’ Andrew Benintendi won the award last year.
