The Golden Apple Award for the month of November was awarded to Kindergarten Teacher Katie Butler at Trout Elementary in Ponca City. Butler received a trophy along with $200 for classroom supplies. The Golden Apple Award is present from 104.7 The Bull and Sunny 1230 each month to honor an outstanding teacher in Ponca City and surrounding communities. The Golden Apple Award is sponsored by Cherokee Strip Credit Union, Dr. Randy Weber and Kenny Wheeler – Farmers Insurance.
