Commission approves purchase of new ambulance

Ponca City will be getting a new ambulance in the near future. City Commissioners approved the contract for $165,101.11 with Southwest Ambulance Sales on Monday night.

Fire Chief Butch Herring said the specs for the new vehicle are right in line with the city's current fleet of ambulances. The new vehicle should be delivered within 120 days.
