TULSA, Okla. (AP) – Police in Tulsa say a man has died after being shot at a home on the city's southeast side and the victim's neighbor is the suspect.

Sgt. Dave Walker says officers were called shortly before 7 p.m. Friday to the home where a 37-year-old man was shot. The man was taken to a hospital where he died. His name was not immediately released.

Walker says witnesses identified a 61-year-old neighbor as the suspect and police eventually found the man hiding behind a tree outside a library behind his home.

Walker says the suspect is now hospitalized with an undisclosed illness and will be arrested when he's released. Court records do not show that formal charges have been filed.
