Arkansas City man arrested on suspicion of multiple sex crimes

ARKANSAS CITY, Kan. — An Arkansas City man was arrested July 1 after allegedly committing sex crimes against three juvenile Arkansas City females, all 8 years old or younger.

Lance Michael Todd, 21, was arrested by the Arkansas City Police Department on suspicion of two counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, involving two of the victims.

He was transported to and booked into the Cowley County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bond through Cowley County District Court in Arkansas City.

After continued investigation, police discovered evidence of a third victim. Charges of child abuse and sexual exploitation of a child, as well as a third count of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, were added to Todd’s booking. His bond was set to be increased by an additional $60,000.

Todd remained in custody at the time of this release.

All three victims were known by Todd.
