Information needed on theft from Temple

The Temple Emanuel Synagogue was forcibly entered sometime after 9:30 p.m. Friday, July 1, and before 8 p.m. on Saturday, July 2. The Temple is located at 1201 East Highland in Ponca City.

The Ponca City Police Department needs the assistance of the public to find out who is responsible for the break-in and the location of stolen items.

Police say some religious ceremonial items were stolen, including a silver wedding set, a silver spice box, a silver amulet and a Torah pointer.

Anyone wishing to send an anonymous tip online regarding the identity of the person or persons involved in the break in, the location of any of the items taken from the Temple, or any other crime, can contact CrimeStoppers.
