Lexington prison without power

LEXINGTON, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma state prison in Lexington has been without power for five days after lightning struck a transformer.

The Lexington Assessment and Reception Center has had no electricity since Saturday.

A prison spokeswoman says power is expected to be restored by Thursday.
