The 35th Ponca City Leadership Class had a session on the history of Ponca City. The class is shown with David Keathly at Marland’s Grand Home. David also led the class on an incredible tour of the Marland Mansion. They also toured and learned about Chief Standing Bear with T.L Walker, B.S. Barnes, City Hall, Lew Wentz, Wentz Pool and Camp, E.W. and Lydie Marland at the Marland Estate, Pioneer Woman Museum, Poncan Theatre and Conoco Museum. We also had Mark and Terri Busch, Larry Bittman and Christina Rich-Splawn as reenactors. Mayor Homer Nicholson was Lew Wentz, Jayne Detten was Lydie, Rob Bodick was E.W. and Rich Cantillon was B.S. Barnes founder of Ponca City.
The 35th Ponca City Leadership Class chairs are Luke Garrison, Brook Lindsay, and Corbin Dewitt. They are doing an incredible job.
