Claremore man injured in accident near Perkins

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a Claremore man was injured in an accident near Perkins in Payne County about 10:30 a.m. Tuesday.

The accident was at US 177 just north of State Highway 33, a mile west of Perkins.

Roger Woldridge,70, of Claremore, was driving a 1929 Ford and it was being unloaded from a trailer on private property.

James Hendrickson, 72, of Claremore was behind the car as it was being unloaded from the trailer and attempted to slow the car. He fell and was pinned for about 10 minutes before being freed by witnesses on the scene.

Hendrickson was transported by LifeNet to OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City, where he was admitted in stable condition with head, trunk internal, and arm injuries.

Woldridge was not injured.
