2-Year-Old Critical, 8-Month-Old Dead After ATV Crash Near Norman

A 2-year-old is critical and an 8-month-old is dead after a crash in Cleveland County Sunday afternoon.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol (OHP) said the crash happened around 4 p.m. at an ATV Park along the South Canadian River near Norman.

A 2022 Polaris Ranger driven by 31-year-old Kendra Mann was carrying 26-year-old Kelsey Drummer and four kids, a 6-year-old boy, a 3-year-old girl, a 2-year-old boy, and an 8-month-old boy.

OHP said they were all from Newalla.

Officials are still investigating what happened, but officials said the 2-year-old was taken to OU Children’s Hospital in Oklahoma City.

The 8-month-old was taken to the Norman Healthplex and was pronounced dead.

OHP said both children were pinned for about 20 minutes before being extricated by emergency personnel.

The other two children and two adults were not injured, according to OHP.
