SPENCER, Okla. (AP) – The Oklahoma County Sheriff's Office says two teenagers were shot and killed outside a rodeo in Spencer.

Sheriff's spokesman Mark Opgrande said Sunday that 17-year-old Brandon Beiner was dead at the scene on the outskirts of Oklahoma City and 14-year-old Mark Carter was pronounced dead at a Midwest City hospital.

Opgrande said the shooting occurred in a parking lot just before 11 p.m. Saturday while the rodeo was underway with 500 to 1,000 people attending.

No other injuries are reported and Opgrande said there is no indication the shooting was related to the rodeo.

Opgrande said two weapons believed to have been used in the shooting were found and a man in possession of one of the weapons was arrested for possession of a firearm after a former conviction.
