Two prisoners escaped from the Dick Conner Correctional Center in Hominy on Sunday night.

An ‘Orange Alert’ was issued for Aaron Victory and Bradley Cherry by the Department of Corrections.

The Hominy Police Department was made aware of two missing inmates around 10 p.m. Sunday, officials said.

Prison officials advised the last time the inmates were seen was around 6 p.m. on camera, but not noticed to be missing until 10 p.m.

Multiple Hominy officers with the assistance of Osage County Sheriff’s Office, Osage Nation Police Department, and Oklahoma Highway Patrol responded to the prison and have been searching the area using drones, K9’s and by driving, officials said.

Authorities in Pushmataha County were at one point in pursuit of a vehicle that was suspected to be involved with the escape, officials said.

Authorities were able to stop that vehicle and take the driver into custody, but two males ran from the vehicle and a foot pursuit ensued, officials said. The two males are still at large at this time.

The driver that is in custody confirmed with that the two males that ran from the vehicle are the two escaped prisoners, officials said.

The inmates in question are identified as Aaron Victory and Bradley Cherry, according to officials. Both were in the minimum security housing units at Dick Conner, officials said.

Both inmates are convicted felons for theft and drug charges, which is what their current sentences are for, officials said.

Aaron is from the McCurtain County area and Bradley is from the Oklahoma County area, officials said.

Officials said local law enforcement and state agents are currently still in the area and investigating the situation.

At this time, officials said they can’t confirm any vehicles used in this escape as this is an ongoing investigation.

The public is asked to share this information and call 911 if you spot these individuals, but do not approach them.
