BROKEN ARROW, Okla. (AP) – Firefighters say two children and an adult have died following a house fire in Broken Arrow.
Fire Capt. Shaun Christmas said the three were found inside the home and one was pronounced dead at the scene of the Monday morning fire. The other victims died at a hospital.
The names and ages of the three were not released Monday and fire and police officials did not immediately return a phone call for comment on Tuesday.
A relative says the mother of the children and wife of the man was not at home at the time of the fire, which was reported by passers-by who saw smoke coming from the home.
Capt. Christmas said the cause of the fire has not been determined and is under investigation by the city fire marshal.
