16-year-old girl remains missing

Ponca City Police Department spokeswoman Sherry Bowers said Thursday that 16-year-old Brandy Daffern remains missing and is still entered in the National Crime Information Center system as a runaway from Ponca City. She also is entered in the data base for the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

Daffern disappeared from the Pioneer Technology Center in mid-November when she was there for an event. She was not a student at the center.

Daffern is originally from Shawnee, Okla., in Pottawatomie County and was placed in Ponca City at the Marland Children’s Home.

She is 5’5” tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She is a white female with brown or auburn hair and brown eyes.
