North 14th Street narrows through Fall 2020

Northbound and southbound US-77/N. 14th St. will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between E. South Ave. just north of US-177 and E. Hartford Ave. in Ponca City starting at 7 a.m. Wednesday for a resurfacing project.

Motorists should expect delays and congestion in the area and can expect intermittent side street closures along US-77 at varying times as the work progresses. Work generally will occur between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Monday-Friday, but some weekend work could be occasionally scheduled, weather permitting.

The $1.7 million contract was awarded by the Oklahoma Transportation Commission in March to Evans & Associates Construction Co. Inc. of Ponca City. Work is expected to complete by early fall 2020, weather permitting.
