Personal Injury Collision in Pawnee County

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol reported a personal injury collision occurred about 5:40 p.m. Friday on US64 at Old Keystone Road, about 0.5 miles south of Cleveland, OK in Pawnee County.

The patrol said the accident involved a 2011 Jeep driven by Jessica Upshaw, 40, of Cleveland, OK. Upshaw was transported by personal vehicle to Cleveland Hospital. She was then transported by Mercy EMS to Hillcrest South in Tulsa where she was admitted in stable condition with head and trunk internal injuries.

The Highway Patrol’s report stated that Upshaw’s vehicle was travelling northbound on US64. The vehicle departed the roadway to the right and ramped a driveway. The vehicle then travelled down an embankment, through a fence, and struck a tree. Seatbelts were equipped and in use. Airbags were equipped and deployed. The cause of the collision is attributed to a medical incident.
